Not again...

It sure is HOT.....and we still have August to go. At least the humidity is gone now so its a little more bearable. We still dont go outside much. Gpa goes out in the morning and does what he needs to do, but is done around 11:00 am because he is sweating soooooo bad! Yesterday he worked calves for a sale next week.

Gram fell again today :( She didn't get hurt bad, just one finger is swollen/bruised. She was able to move it, so I knew it wasnt broke. It still hurts me though when she hurts. She seems to go "down hill" more and more everyday. One day she'll have a good day.....then a bad one.

Today I had to work, except it was an inservice and not really nursing work. Its sorta of a motivational cusomer service initiative. To help let the new staff know what the hospital expects from them as far as behavior/work ethics/etc. I always think I stink at it-no one really likes public speaking I guess. Everyone says I do a great job at it, maybe because I'm just a great "talker" lol.

Next month one of my friends from Dallas is coming to spend the night. I'm really looking forward to that. Her name is Toni, and she's a sweetie. She's a good talker too lol.

Gpa is raising Guineas. We have around 20 med sized ones here back in the pen. But....we have around 120 yes 120 over at a friends house. Gpa and Rick are in the Guinea business lol. What a bunch of noise they'll make when they get a lil bigger.
