Yesterday we made it to Estes Park.  Long drive but well worth it.  We got here around 2 pm and had to rest.  Around 4 we got up and went into town and bought some groceries.  We have a cute lil cabin, Gpa and I both said we would love a lil house like this, except with a bedroom.  Gpa cooked us steak kabobs and shrimp on the grill, yummy, then we headed out to take a trip around the forest and see what we could see.  The elk were down low, why, because its still very, very cold up on the top of the mountains.  We saw some wild turkey (never seen those before), mule deer, and a few elk.  Last time we were here the elk were everywhere, this year they are scattered among the bottoms.
On our way back home last night Gpa and I saw 4 bighorn sheep.  Last time we were here we tried the whole trip to spot them but never did.  This time we just came around the corner and there they were, 4 rams.  I was thrilled to say the least.

A trip to Ft. Smith

Story time at the Library, making "spiders"
Nathan doing his thing

Jesse leading with a story, he was great!!!!

Gram and I went and spent 3 wonderful (busy) days with 11 of my favorite people. Although I did notice they werent all around this time. Meg is busy with school, and Lane was working a sale. But the other 7 kept me more than busy, and I do believe Gram played more games than ever in her life. She looks quite beautiful in her "pretty, pretty, Princess jewels too. We went to watch Taekwondo, Nathan looks quite fierce in his uniform. We went to Awana, I wanna take most of them home, bath em, and buy some clothes for em, but I loved it. Sandy teaches the class, and I will admit she very good at it. I even remembered a verse from when I was young, even with the hand movements. Sandy and I spent more time in the car than anything lol. Taking young ones here and there, picking them up, dropping them off. Whew!!!! BTW Sandy when I kept thinking I had plenty of gas, I was actually looking at the temperature guage, thats why I always had a 1/2 tank of gas lol. That's what I get for driving someone elses car lol.

There is nothing I love more than being in Ft. Smith, except coming home to my own sweet baby.

Finished Dock

Just waiting on some kids to come fish on it, and some more water!!

The dock is 99% done, minus a few last minute fine details. Tonight I went out on it about 730 pm and threw some bread in for the fish. I've tried this before, but never saw any fish come and get it. Tonight was a different story. They were everywhere and splashin up a storm. I love my dock, but not as much as I love my sweetpea for making it for me.

Grandpa builds a dock

You can see how much water we have lost.
Grandpa cutting boards to size

Its a long way to shore

I'd say 1/2 done now.

I love grandpa :)

He is building me a dock so I can go out on it and fish. Nothing more than to make me happy.

There was an old dock out there, but it's always been under water. Since we have had somewhat of a drought, the old dock was uncovered. Grandpa decided while it was out, he would make it up so that when the water came back up, we would still have a dock. Him and Uncle Kenny have been out there every morning sawing, measuring, nailing, and so a dock is born. They can only work a short time cause once it gets hot, they have to quit.

The next time ya'll come down, there will be fishing on a dock......can't wait!!!!!!!!
