Great Sunday

This morning Gpa and I went down to check on a momma who we thought would have a baby thru the night. She didn't, but just as we got down there she was looking for a nice place to lay down and have it. We sat in the pasture and watched her for a long time. Nothing was happening and Gpa was getting hungry, so he decided to go get a sandwich. I stayed, I couldn't see her very well so I walked into the woods. I was there about 30 minutes when she started to have the baby. I watched her and I thought she might be having trouble, where's Gpa when I need him. She had the baby standing up...plop...right on it's lil head on the ground. Just then Gpa came up carring a pail, I thought good he's brought things in case we needed to help her deliver. Boy was I wrong, he brought us lunch : ) He's so sweet. The baby seemed to be ok, so Gpa and I sat down and had lunch while we watched momma clean up the baby. Let me tell you that baby came out hungry, HE (yeah another boy) was up nursing in about 10 minutes. I love to watch the momma's have the babies, but I'm always very tense until I see them move about.
We now have 7 lil ones running around playing. The back pasture is getting quite crowded, but I love it.

Momma kitty is getting BIG, it wont be long now!!!!
