Wild Hogs

On our land we have some (alot) of wild hogs. They are quite the menance to the ground. They root and tear large holes in the ground, looking for food. They multiply like a wildfire. Grandpa and I hunt these. We have started going out earlier in the morning. They don't sweat, so they are only out when it's cool. So at 7am we go down and yesterday morning we very quickly came across about 10 of them standing in the open of the field. They don't see well and don't hear very well, but they still see/feel movement. Grandpa, as usual did a wonderful job of hitting a big one with the first shot. POW!!! Down it went.

We have a friend who eats these (I do not). So Grandpa gutted it, which is somewhat of an art, I might add. Grandpa is very, very good at it, he works like a skilled surgeon. I love hunting with Grandpa, one of my very favorite things to do.
